Ramon Ocasio III
Ramon Ocasio III (born 1962) is a judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County, first elected in 2006 from the 6th Judicial Subcircuit.〔(Cook County 6th Judicial Subcircuit Map )〕 The 6th Judicial Subcircuit is located in Chicago's north side.
==Early life==
A lifelong resident of Chicago, Ocasio graduated from Roberto Clemente High School in Humboldt Park. After receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign he went on to law school at Northeastern University.〔(Microsoft Word – 10clerkshiphandbook.doc ). (PDF) . He left his job as a public defender to run the Illinois Attorney General’s regional consumer fraud office in Chicago. Eight years later he would return to the public defender’s office, where he supervised 18 other lawyers.
